BRAINS OF YEOVIL. On the 15th of April 2009 we had the 42nd Brains of Yeovil quiz competition and this is always a popular night with regular teams entering each year. Whilst not a major fund-raising event it has contributed to our funds each year. The Hole in the Wall Gang were the winners and are regular supporters of our Quiz Night. A cheque for £600.00 was presented to the local Alzheimer’s Society. This year the date is again the 15th April 2010 and please contact us at yeovillions@uwclub.net for an entry form.
FIREWORKS NIGHT. This was our 40th Annual Fireworks Night at The Yeovil Show Ground and with the weather not being very good and with other firework displays in the area our attendance was down.
However the display was one of the best and the model helicopter display before the fireworks by Stuart Smith was outstanding, hopefully he or his brother Adrian or both will perform again this year.

3 HOUR GO-KARTING ENDURANCE GRAND PRIX. The fifth Go-Karting event will take place on the 2rd May 2010 Last year’s winners were The Lovell Lads. The amount raised was £1500.00 and has been used to provide 3 - Bursaries at Yeovil College. Thanks are once again due to The Clay Pigeon Race Track for being so accommodating and the teams that entered and supported us once again. See the events diary for this years date.
